There are three defence school entrance exams. Each exam is different from the others.
AISSEE is the Sainik School entrance exam. It is conducted by NTA every year. Students can apply for Class 6 or Class 9. The exam covers Maths, English, General Knowledge and Intelligence. It is a multiple-choice question exam. It may seem easy. The cutoff is very high because of the competition.
RMS CET ↗ is the entrance exam for Rashtriya Military Schools. It is called the Common Entrance Test. Students can apply for Class 6 and Class 9. RIMC is the entrance exam for Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun. This exam is very tough. It has a written exam and a personal interview.
