Three Buildings, One Compound

Ask Tezu's own district administration what makes the town distinctive, and they won't lead with the scenery. It isn't treated as remarkable locally either. A short drive out, Parashuram Kund draws thousands every January, pilgrims who believe the sage Parashurama washed away his sins in those exact waters, a story that traces back to the Mahabharata itself. The Mishmi community here still maintains its own king and queen, a lineage that predates most things that get labelled ancient elsewhere in the country. None of that requires a lecture on coexistence for the families raised inside it. They've simply watched it hold together their entire lives, which tends to produce a certain patience about anything that takes sustained effort, including a child's Sainik School preparation.

The Part Most Coaching Centres Don't Mention

Arunachal Pradesh has its own Sainik School, Sainik School East Siang, based at Ruksin in East Siang district. It admits both boys and girls for Class 6, though Class 9 currently takes boys only. Being in-state matters practically, it puts Arunachal domicile candidates inside the standard 67 percent home quota rather than competing for the smaller share left for everyone applying from elsewhere. RMS sits outside all of this, since there's no RMS campus anywhere in the northeast, meaning a selected candidate boards out of state, typically at Dholpur. RMS coaching in Tezu stays specific to the genuine RMS CET pattern rather than repackaging AISSEE content under a different name, and RIMC coaching follows that same logic, built around the actual written paper and interview format RIMC uses rather than borrowed AISSEE material.

Why Knowing the Syllabus Isn't Enough

The AISSEE paper runs 125 questions in two and a half hours, and almost nothing about regular school testing prepares a student for that pace. Parents are usually surprised the first time it shows up in a mock, a child who's strong at classroom Maths can still run out of time entirely on the real thing. The Intelligence section is the part that catches people off guard specifically, since no school anywhere actually teaches it as its own subject, so a student walks in cold. Preparation here focuses on exactly that gap. Timing. The discipline to walk away from a question that's costing more than it's worth. Enough repetition that accuracy holds steady late in the paper, not just early. A student attending the physical Tezu batch and one logging in online sit the same tests, get the same correction, meet the same bar, only the commute changes.

How the Weeks Actually Break Down

The first half of each week is concept-heavy, new topics worked through slowly enough that the logic actually settles rather than getting memorised as a shortcut that falls apart under pressure. Then the tone shifts, timed sets, strict clocks, short bursts rather than long grinding sessions, because pace is a habit you build in small doses, not something a single long session fixes. One slot every week gets pointed directly at whichever topic a specific student is weakest in, not a group topic chosen for the whole batch, since a room full of different weak spots doesn't benefit from identical drilling. A full-length mock replaces the regular weekend class once a month, run at the real AISSEE length rather than something abbreviated. Students on the RIMC track carry an extra weekly session on top of that, focused specifically on subjective writing and interview readiness, work the standard AISSEE track has no real use for.

Choosing a Track

Class 5 students can begin a year ahead through a Foundation batch, low-pressure Maths and reasoning groundwork so the real exam doesn't feel new later. A Crash Course exists separately for students starting late, built for intensity over an extended build. Which track actually fits usually comes down to where a child's English and reasoning already sit relative to grade level, not a rule applied the same way to everyone.

The Honest Pitch

Every teacher here works specifically inside AISSEE, RMS, and RIMC rather than treating them interchangeably, because they diverge more than most general tutors realise. Testing happens nationally so a parent's sense of where their child stands is measured against real competition, not a comfortable local pool. Reports name exact scores and exact gaps, never a general "coming along fine," and doubt-clearing runs as its own booked slot so a missed session from a delayed bus doesn't quietly snowball into a lost week.

A scholarship test runs annually and stays open to anyone in the Tezu area, enrolled or not, close enough to the real AISSEE difficulty that even a losing attempt is worth something.
