Raigad is the land where Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj built his capital - 1,737 steps above the valley floor, on a fort the British later called "the Gibraltar of the East." Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar chose Mahad to make his stand for dignity in 1927. Vasudev Balwant Phadke, the first armed revolutionary against British rule, was born here. Sunday mock runs 9 to 12. Discussion continues till 1. From October onwards Sunday mock is not optional - every family is told this on day one, so there are no surprises later.

In 2025, our top Class 6 student from the Raigad belt scored 256 out of 300. Two of our selections were boys from Mahad - one from a farming family in Shrivardhan taluka, one from a fisherman's home near Alibag. Both cleared our September scholarship test and paid 25% of our fees.
We run a scholarship test every April and September. It is open to every child - already enrolled or just thinking about it. No separate form, no extra process.
For economically weaker families: If full fees are genuinely difficult for your household, say so. We look at it honestly and without any fuss - no humiliating paperwork, no awkward process. Last year nine students received cuts ranging from 25% to a full 100% waiver. A child from Raigad should never lose a Sainik School seat because the family could not afford the coaching. That is simply not something we are willing to let happen.
For ex-servicemen families: If your father wore the uniform, we believe your child deserves every possible push toward wearing it too. Families of retired defence personnel receive a flat fee concession - no scholarship test needed, no conditions attached. Bring the service documents and it is done the same day. It is the least we owe to families who already gave so much to this country.
Our fees are kept deliberately among the lowest in the Konkan region - and for the families above, they go lower still.
Notes updated every year - when NTA changed the Class 9 Science pattern in 2024, updated notes went out in three weeks. No old photocopies passed down from previous batches.
