Why the Clock Matters More Than the Syllabus

Most Palghar parents ask: does my child know the chapters? That is a good question. But there is a second question most families miss: can your child work through 200 questions in 150 minutes without freezing?

That is 45 seconds per question. Under exam conditions. On an OMR sheet.

A child who has studied well but never practised under the clock will slow down at question 80 and panic by question 140. We have seen it happen to genuinely sharp students. Our programme fixes this from week one. Every session is timed. Every Saturday is a full mock. Every drill has an OMR sheet. By the time your child walks into the actual AISSEE hall, the pressure feels familiar - almost boring.

Palghar children grow up between the sea, the mountains, and the forest. The Koli child learns to read weather before school teaches weather. The Warli child understands patience from watching rice grow. The child from Boisar or Tarapur has seen industry and discipline since birth. These are not small things. Children from Mumbai and Pune have more coaching centres - but they do not always have this groundedness.

What Palghar children often lack is not ability. It is exam-specific structure - the kind that Pune children have been doing since Class 4. Our programme gives Palghar children exactly that structure, closed in three months. After that, the natural discipline kicks in. And that is when things start moving.

What Your Child Studies Here

AISSEE Class 6 - Maths, English, General Knowledge, Intelligence. One topic at a time. Chapter test before moving ahead. Monthly full mock on OMR. No chapter advances until 70% is crossed.

AISSEE Class 9 - Science and Social Studies added in. Chapter test every Wednesday. Full Saturday mock from 8 to 10:30 AM. Your child sits more than forty-five mocks before January. The actual paper feels like one more Saturday.

RMS Coaching Palghar - Class 6 and Class 9 tracks, both separate. RMS moves faster and weighs reasoning more heavily. Our weekly papers match that pace.

RIMC Coaching Palghar - Written test, interview, and viva covered in one course. Mock interviews conducted by a retired Army officer with real panel experience. Your son learns to face a panel long before he reaches Dehradun.

Crash Course - For families arriving in October with the exam in January. Daily classes, daily tests, evening doubt session from 7:30 to 8:30 on weekdays. Tough but doable. Children who stay with it go into the exam hall holding something solid.

Foundation Batch (Class 4–5) - No pressure. Mental Maths, English through short stories, picture reasoning on Saturdays. By Class 6 the AISSEE is already familiar ground.

Sunday mock runs 9 to 12. Discussion continues till 1. From October onwards, Sunday mock is not optional - we tell every family this on day one.

Results - Last Three Years

In 2025, our top Class 6 student scored 258 out of 300 - the highest from the Palghar–Dahanu belt that year. Two selections were boys from Jawhar. Scholarship students, both of them. Their families paid 25% of our fees after clearing our September scholarship test.

Fees and Scholarships

We hold a scholarship test every April and September. Last year nine students received cuts between 25% and 100%. The test is open to every child - already enrolled or just enquiring. No separate form, no extra process.

Our fees are kept deliberately among the lowest in the Konkan region. No Palghar family should miss a Sainik School seat because coaching was unaffordable.

What Genuinely Makes the Difference

Notes updated every year - when NTA changed the Class 9 Science pattern in 2024, updated notes went out in three weeks. No old photocopies from five years ago.

All-India mock rankings - your child ranked against students across Maharashtra, Punjab, and Haryana. A real number, not a classroom position.
