Raja Medini Rai ruled from this very soil. Nilamber and Pitamber rose up from Palamu in 1857 and made the British nervous. The fort south of Daltonganj still stands, half in ruins, and reminds every passing child what this land has produced.
So it is a strange thing to admit. Families in Palamu, when they are serious about Sainik School, still pack their kids off to Patna or Ranchi for coaching. Or worse, they sign up for a generic online batch made for some other state, and hope it works.

Palamu is not a small district. It has 21 blocks. Nearly 20 lakh people. A medical college. An engineering college. A university - Nilamber-Pitamber University - named after two men from this land who picked up arms against the British.

200 questions. 150 minutes. That is 45 seconds for each question in Class 6. Class 9 is no easier.
This is where the marks slip. Not in the syllabus. In the panic.
A child who knows the answer reads the question twice, just to be sure. Then forgets to mark the OMR. Or burns ten minutes on a single Maths sum. Or looks at the clock and finds half the paper still untouched.
We fix this the only way it can be fixed - with repetition. Every Saturday, your child sits a full 150-minute mock test. Same number of questions. Same OMR sheet. Same kind of paper. After ten Saturdays, the actual exam in January feels like the eleventh one. That is the difference between a child who freezes and a child who finishes.
67% of seats at Sainik School Tilaiya are kept for Jharkhand students. Within those, there are separate cutoffs for OBC, SC and ST candidates.
Palamu has all three categories in big numbers. Your child is not fighting for one of 118 seats. Your child is competing in the Jharkhand pool, and inside that, in your own category pool. The required score drops at every step.

RMS Coaching - For Rashtriya Military Schools, Class 6 and Class 9. The RMS paper leans harder on reasoning, so our weekly practice is set up for that pattern from week one.
RIMC Coaching - Written exam, interview and viva taught as a single course. The mock interview panel includes a retired Army officer. Your son faces a real interview here in Medininagar before he ever boards a train for Dehradun.
Crash Course - For families who come in by October or later. Daily class. Daily test. Doubt session every evening from 7:30 to 8:30.

A scholarship test is held every April and September. It is open to every child in Palamu district. You do not have to enrol with us first.
Last year, twelve students got fee waivers ranging from 25% to a full 100%. No child from Medininagar, Chainpur, Hussainabad, Hariharganj, Panki, Lesliganj, Patan or Manatu should miss a Sainik School seat just because the family is short on money. If that is your situation, tell us on day one. We will sort it. No long form. No awkward questions.

Palamu is a big district. Manatu is more than 60 km from Medininagar. Hariharganj is closer to the Bihar border than to Daltonganj station. Not every family can send a child to town five days a week.
So we run a live online batch in parallel with the classroom. Same teacher. Same hour. Same test paper. Your child joins from a phone or a basic laptop at home. The Saturday mock test is taken on a printed OMR sheet that we post to your address. You scan and send it back the same evening.
Three of our 2025 selections came through this online batch. It works.
