67% of seats at Sainik School Tilaiya are reserved for Jharkhand students. Inside that, there are separate cutoffs for OBC, SC and ST.
Latehar is a tribal-majority district. Nearly half the kids here come from Scheduled Tribe families. Many more are from SC or OBC homes. The reservation system is built to help exactly these children - and yet most families never use it the right way.

AISSEE Class 9 - Same four plus Science and Social Studies. Wednesday chapter tests. Saturday full mock from 8 AM to 10:30 AM.
RMS Coaching - For Rashtriya Military Schools, Class 6 and Class 9. RMS papers lean harder on reasoning, so our weekly practice is set up for that from day one.
RIMC ↗ Coaching - Written exam, interview and viva, all taught as one course. Mock interviews are run by a retired Army officer. Your son faces a real panel here in Latehar long before he ever reaches Dehradun.
Crash Course - For families who come in only by October. Daily class, daily test, doubt session every evening from 7:30 to 8:30.

These numbers are smaller than what bigger cities post. We are saying so honestly. Latehar is just starting out. Your child can be on next year's list.
A scholarship test runs every April and September. It is open to every child in Latehar district. You do not have to join us first.
Last year, nine kids got fee cuts ranging from 25% to a full 100%. No child from Latehar, Manika, Chandwa, Balumath, Barwadih, Garu or Mahuadanr should miss a Sainik School seat because the family cannot afford coaching. If that is your situation, just say so on day one. We will sort it. No long form. No awkward questions.
Ex-servicemen families - bring your service papers. The concession is confirmed the same day you walk in.
ST families - special category fees apply. Ask us when you come.
Mahuadanr is more than two hours from Latehar town on a good day. Garu is no closer. The road through the forest is not always easy, and during the rains it gets worse.
So we run a live online batch alongside the classroom. Same teacher. Same time. Same test paper. Your child joins from home on a phone or a basic laptop. The Saturday mock test is taken on a printed OMR sheet that we send to you. You scan and send it back.
It works. Three of our 2025 selections came through this online batch.
