Sainik Schools Within Range of Kurnool

Sainik School Korukonda in Andhra Pradesh - approximately 200 kilometres from Kurnool. The primary target for most Andhra Pradesh families and the most commonly targeted school for students coming to us from this district.

AISSEE opens up all 33 Sainik Schools nationally through one paper every January. Andhra Pradesh domicile helps in seat allocation at Korukonda, but the written paper is the same for every student in India. The rank decides everything.

Sainik School Bijapur (Karnataka) is also within range for Kurnool students given the district's proximity to the Karnataka border - approximately 250 kilometres. Students from Kurnool can apply to any Sainik School through AISSEE and are not restricted to Andhra Pradesh.

Rashtriya Military School Bangalore is approximately 300 kilometres from Kurnool - a separate entrance exam, separate paper, separate interview. Most families from Kurnool don't know this path exists when they first enquire. We run RMS coaching as a separate batch.

Why AISSEE Catches Kurnool Students

Kurnool has good schools - both English-medium and Telugu-medium institutions that have been producing board results for decades. The academic foundation for most students here is solid.

AISSEE still surprises them. The same way it surprises students from every city, for the same reason.

School exams and AISSEE are testing different things. A school exam checks whether a student knows the chapter. AISSEE checks whether a student can handle 125 questions in 150 minutes under OMR pressure - maintaining accuracy across four subjects, never slowing when question 78 looks slightly different from anything in the textbook. That skill is built through specific, repeated timed practice. It cannot be assumed from good school marks.

Three things specifically trip up Kurnool students.

The Intelligence section. This is the section most students haven't prepared for at all when they first sit a full-length mock. Series, patterns, analogies, spatial reasoning - school curriculum does not build this in the form AISSEE demands. Daily practice from Week 1, maintained every week, is what makes this section manageable. Neglecting it is one of the most common reasons for a missed first attempt.

Section time balance. Kurnool students strong in Mathematics tend to linger there. Students weaker in Intelligence tend to rush it and lose accuracy. Managing the balance across four sections - precisely, under pressure - takes months of full-length timed mocks to develop. There is no shortcut.

Telugu-medium English preparation. Much of Kurnool district runs on Telugu-medium schools, particularly outside Kurnool town. AISSEE English is specific - exact comprehension formats, vocabulary ranges, grammar question types that repeat predictably. We work on the precise AISSEE paper content from Day One.

Class 6 AISSEE - For Class 5 Students

Class 5 is the right time. A full academic year means proper concept building, 30+ timed full-length mocks, and real time to correct weak sections before January.

Mathematics through reasoning - the logic behind every method, not formulas to memorise. Numbers, fractions, percentages, geometry, time and distance - concept first, graded practice second, timed drills once each concept is secure.

Intelligence every session. Daily practice sets - pattern recognition, series, analogy, coding-decoding. Gradual and consistent. By Month 3 most students find this manageable. By Month 5 it is often their highest-scoring section.

English built for the AISSEE paper. Comprehension formats, fill-in-the-blank types, vocabulary ranges, grammar patterns from previous year papers - practised at exam pace. Not school English.

GK structured and updated weekly. Filtered to what AISSEE actually tests. Revised and retained.

Full-length Saturday mocks from Week 1. Section-wise tracking every week. Fortnightly parent reports - real numbers, specific gaps, a specific plan.

Class 9 AISSEE - For Class 8 Students

Harder paper. Science and Social Studies added. Fewer seats. No section can be left weak.

RMS Bangalore at approximately 300 kilometres is a realistic target for Kurnool students. The entrance paper is not AISSEE - different structure, different marking, English and Reasoning weighted more heavily. We run RMS coaching as a completely separate batch from AISSEE.

RIMC Coaching - Rashtriya Indian Military College

Fifty seats. All of India. Every year. Subjective English, advanced Maths, a personal interview under real pressure. Not for every student. For students with the aptitude, written and interview preparation are built together from Day One.

Online Batch - For the Whole Kurnool District

For families in Adoni, Nandyal, Alur, Pattikonda, Yemmiganur - daily travel to a coaching centre is not always practical. Distance, school timings, family routines - it adds up.

How We Work

Every student joins with a timed assessment - a real test under exam conditions, not a placement exercise that puts the student at ease. School marks tell us almost nothing about AISSEE readiness. The assessment tells us everything: subject by subject, section by section, whether speed is the gap or concept is the gap. Both are fixable. They need different fixes, and knowing which one we're dealing with changes the entire preparation plan.

From that we build week by week. Clear targets per section per month. When a section misses its target in the weekly mock, we address it the same week - not at the end of the month when the window has already narrowed.

Batches stay small. Every student is visible to the teacher. If a student's Intelligence scores drop across three consecutive Saturday mocks, that pattern gets caught in Week 3 and corrected before it becomes a habit.

Parents receive honest, regular updates - real section scores, identified gaps, a specific plan for the next four weeks. If a child is not putting in the effort the exam requires, the parent hears it from us directly. Some families find that uncomfortable at first. Most come back later and say it was the most valuable part of the whole preparation year.
