क्योंकि AISSEE ↗ की परीक्षा में 125 सवाल और सिर्फ 150 मिनट होते हैं। यानी एक सवाल के लिए 72 सेकंड। इतने कम समय में जो बच्चा घड़ी के साथ कभी बैठा ही नहीं, वो परीक्षा हॉल में पहला मुश्किल सवाल देखते ही वहीं अटक जाता है। और पीछे के पंद्रह आसान सवाल अनछुए रह जाते हैं।
किताब में सब था। दिमाग में भी था। समय नहीं था।
ये गलती सिलेबस की नहीं होती। ये गलती तैयारी के तरीके की होती है।
हम इसी एक चीज़ को सबसे पहले ठीक करते हैं।
हमारे यहाँ पहले हफ्ते से हर शनिवार - असली OMR Sheet, 150 मिनट का सख्त टाइमर, जनवरी की परीक्षा जैसा पूरा माहौल। बच्चा जब पंद्रह-बीस बार इस अनुभव से गुज़र जाता है, तब असली परीक्षा हॉल उसे अनजाना नहीं लगता। वहाँ उसकी नसें नहीं काँपती। उसके हाथ नहीं थरथराते।
वो बस - बैठता है, हल करता है, उठकर चला आता है।
बहुत से माँ-बाप सोचते हैं कि सैनिक स्कूल तो बड़े शहर के बच्चों के लिए है। या फिर जिनके घर में पहले से कोई फौजी हो।
दोनों बातें गलत हैं।
Sainik School Tilaiya की कुल सीटों में 67% सीटें झारखंड के बच्चों के लिए अलग रखी जाती हैं - Home State Quota के तहत। बाकी 33% ही बाहर के राज्यों को मिलती हैं।
और इस 67% के अंदर भी - OBC के लिए 27% सीटें अलग हैं। SC के लिए 15% सीटें। ST के लिए 7.5% सीटें।
जामताड़ा में संताल परिवारों की बड़ी तादाद है। ST कोटे का कटऑफ इतना कम होता है कि जब हम पहली बार बताते हैं, कई माँ-बाप कहते हैं - "इतने नंबर में हो जाएगा?" हाँ। इतने में।
हम हर परिवार के सामने उनकी category का पिछले तीन साल का असली कटऑफ रखते हैं। लिखकर। नंबर देखकर। कोई अंदाज़ा नहीं, कोई "शायद" नहीं।
एक काम की बात - Sainik School Tilaiya कक्षा 6 में लड़कों की 106 और लड़कियों की 12 सीटें होती हैं।
AISSEE Class 6 Batch गणित, अंग्रेज़ी, GK और Intelligence। हर chapter में जब तक बच्चा 70% नहीं लाता, अगला chapter नहीं खुलता। यह हमारा नियम है। बच्चे की रफ्तार, हमारा calendar नहीं - यही तय करता है कि आगे कब बढ़ना है।
AISSEE Class 9 Batch Class 6 के सभी विषय plus Science और Social Science। हर बुधवार Chapter Test। हर शनिवार सुबह 8 से 10:30 बजे Full Mock Paper।
RMS Batch Rashtriya Military School का paper अलग pattern पर चलता है - यहाँ Reasoning बाकी सबसे ऊपर है। हम Day 1 से RMS pattern पर काम करते हैं।
RIMC ↗ Batch देहरादून की Written Exam, Interview और Viva - तीनों एकसाथ। Retired Army Officers असली Panel बैठाते हैं। बच्चा जब देहरादून पहुँचे, वो जगह उसे पहचानी लगे।
Crash Course अक्टूबर में याद आया, जनवरी सिर पर है? रोज़ Class, रोज़ Test, शाम 7:30-8:30 Doubt Session। हम तीन महीने में वो करते हैं जो कहीं और छह में होता है।
Foundation Batch - Class 4 और 5 के बच्चों के लिए सिर्फ शनिवार। Mental Maths, Picture Reasoning, छोटे Passage। कोई बोझ नहीं। जब Class 6 की परीक्षा आएगी, AISSEE का तरीका उस बच्चे के लिए पुराना दोस्त जैसा होगा - अनजाना नहीं।

पिछले साल नाला ब्लॉक के एक गाँव का किस्सा।
घर में पिताजी किसान, माँ घर में। दोनों की हैसियत नहीं थी कि बच्चे को रांची या पटना भेज सकें। उन्हें किसी ने हमारे Scholarship Test के बारे में बताया। बच्चे ने test दिया। हमने उसकी समझ देखी, उसका तरीका देखा - और उसी दिन 75% फीस माफ़ कर दी।
आठ महीने वो बच्चा हर सुबह आया। एक दिन भी नागा नहीं किया।
जनवरी में exam दिया। मार्च में result आया।
