Jalgaon is the kind of city that has quietly built its own identity without ever shouting about it. The banana belt of India runs through the fields surrounding it, the gold market in the old city has been doing serious business since long before Mumbai and Pune even noticed, and families here have a steady, grounded way of thinking about their children's futures. Walk through the lanes of Mahabal, Ring Road, Rambaug, or Pimprala - and you will find homes where the elders talk about a brother who served in the Maratha Light Infantry, an uncle who tried for NDA, a cousin who made it to a Sainik School in the 1990s. The defence services pull is real here. The Bombay Sappers and the Maratha Light Infantry have been recruiting from Khandesh for generations, and Jalgaon contributes its share quietly every year.
But the gap between wanting a Sainik School seat and actually earning one is wider than most parents realise. Sainik School coaching Jalgaon at our centre is built specifically to close that gap. We do not coach for school exams or final marks. We coach for the actual papers that matter - AISSEE ↗, RMS, RIMC ↗. Three different exams, three different question patterns, all needing genuinely separate preparation.
Your son's first week with us is on the house. He writes a small assessment paper, the senior teacher at our centre marks it personally, and then we sit down with you for around twenty minutes. What he is good at, where he is weak, and a clear roadmap for the next ninety days - written down on one sheet you can carry home. Children come to our Jalgaon centre from across the city, Bhusawal, Yawal, Chopda, Pachora, Erandol, and from Dhule side on weekends. For families further out - Amalner, Chalisgaon, sometimes even from Burhanpur just across the Madhya Pradesh border - we run a full live online batch with the same teachers handling the offline class. Same homework, same Saturday mock paper, same teacher's voice. We refuse to run two different versions. Walk in any weekday between 10 in the morning and 7 in the evening.
Here is something I want every Jalgaon parent to understand before they spend a single rupee on coaching anywhere - including ours. The AISSEE has no negative marking. Not a single mark gets cut for a wrong answer. So why do bright children still leave 30 to 50 questions blank on the actual paper? The answer surprises most parents. They run out of time. They get stuck on a tough Maths question for four minutes, panic, and the rest of the paper turns into damage control. Many coaching centres do not teach the simplest rule of this exam - attempt every single question, even if it means an educated guess on the last few. Our military school coaching Jalgaon programme drills this into every student from week one. We teach guessing strategy. We teach when to skip and come back. We teach how to mark four bubbles in fifteen seconds without smudging the OMR sheet. These are small things - but they are the difference between rank 800 and rank 80.
I will be direct about this because it matters. Boys from Pune, Nashik, and Mumbai often come to AISSEE with a year or more of head-start coaching. Their schools have already done OMR drills, their tuition centres have already run mock papers. A Jalgaon boy with the same intelligence often starts behind through no fault of his own - simply because that culture of competitive-exam preparation has not reached every corner of Khandesh yet. We design our programme to close that head-start gap completely within the first three months. By December, our students are running the same drills, writing the same difficulty papers, and carrying the same exam temperament as any well-prepared boy from a metro city. The starting line was not equal. The finish line, by the time AISSEE comes, is.
AISSEE Class 6 - Maths, English, GK, Intelligence. Whole syllabus, slow on first pass, faster on revision. Monthly OMR mock. We do not start a new chapter until the chapter test crosses 70%.
AISSEE Class 9 - Science and Social Studies join the syllabus and the difficulty curve climbs sharply. Wednesday chapter tests, Saturday full mocks from 8 to 10:30 AM. By exam day your son has done forty-five plus mock papers - the real one feels like number forty-six.
RMS Coaching Jalgaon - Two parallel tracks for Class 6 and Class 9 entry. RMS leans heavier on reasoning and moves at a quicker pace than AISSEE. Our weekly papers match that exactly so there are no nasty surprises in Belgaum or Ajmer.
RIMC Coaching Jalgaon - Written paper, interview, and viva all in one integrated course. Mock interviews are taken by a retired Army officer who served on actual selection panels in his service days. Your son learns how to handle a panel of officers long before he sits in front of one in Dehradun.
Crash Course - Built for parents who walk in during October when the exam is in January. Daily classes, daily short tests, doubt slot from 7:30 to 8:30 every weekday evening. The pace is hard. Not every child handles it. But the children who stick it out - they walk into the exam centre with something earned, not borrowed.
| Batch | Days | Morning | Evening |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class 6 AISSEE | Mon–Sat | 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM | 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM |
| Class 9 AISSEE | Mon–Sat | 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM | 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM |
| RMS | Mon–Fri + Sun mock | 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM |
| RIMC | Mon–Sat | On request | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM |
| Foundation (Class 4–5) | Tue, Thu, Sat | - | 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM |
Sunday is mock day. The paper runs from 9 to 12 and we sit together to discuss it till 1. From October onwards, the Sunday mock is not optional - we tell every parent this on day one, so it never becomes an awkward conversation in December.
| Year | Sainik School | RMS | RIMC / Other |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | 12 selections (Satara, Chandrapur, Bijapur) | 4 selections (Belgaum, Dholpur) | 1 RIMC + 2 Navodaya |

| 2023 | 7 selections | 2 selections | 1 RIMC |
In 2025, the boy who topped our Class 6 batch scored 262 out of 300 - the highest mark from the Khandesh region that year. Two of our Satara selections were boys from Bhusawal - their fathers work at the railway loco shed on rotating shifts. Both paid only 30% of their course fees because they cleared our scholarship test the previous September. We share these specifics because results, in our view, are not just about toppers. They are about which families in this region actually got their son a seat in the school they wanted.
We take children from Class 4 onwards. At that age the classes look nothing like exam preparation - there is mental arithmetic, English through small stories, and a Saturday puzzle hour where the children laugh more than they study. No homework piles, no pressure on small shoulders. By the time the same boy reaches Class 6 and sits down for AISSEE, the paper format is already familiar territory. Two extra years of slow, unhurried practice creates something a nine-week crash course can never match. Almost every parent who started their son in Class 4 has told us the same line in their own words - we should have walked in a year sooner.
Twice every year. Once in April, once in September. Last year ten children walked away with fee discounts ranging from 25% to a full 100% off. The test is open to every child - already enrolled or just considering joining. The paper covers AISSEE subjects, so even a child who wins nothing goes home having put in two solid hours of pattern practice. RIMC aspirants are welcome at the same test. There is no separate gate.
Walk in any weekday for the free assessment, or call us between 9 AM and 8 PM, any day of the week. We pick up.
