PM नरेंद्र मोदी ने 15 August 2021 को Red Fort से ऐलान किया — अब देश की बेटियाँ भी Sainik School में पढ़ेंगी। AISSEE 2026 में Girls के लिए Class VI और Class IX दोनों में Seats open हैं।
ऐतिहासिक फैसला — कब और कैसे हुआ?
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ने 2021 में proposal approve किया। PM Modi ने 75वें Independence Day (15 Aug 2021) पर Red Fort से announce किया। Pilot project Sainik School Chhingchhip, Mizoram में 2018-19 में शुरू हुआ था — उसकी सफलता के बाद यह decision सभी 33 Sainik Schools में लागू हुआ। Academic Year 2024-25 से Class IX में भी Girls की Admission शुरू हो गई है। Government ने Girls की facilities के लिए ₹92.48 करोड़ का विशेष fund दिया है।

Apply कैसे करें — Step-by-Step Guide
NTA portal से लेकर Final Admission तक का पूरा process।
exams.nta.nic.in/AISSEE — यही एकमात्र Official Portal है। हर साल October में Form जारी होता है। किसी और website से form न भरें।
valid Email ID और Mobile Number से Register करें। Application Number और Password note करके रखें — Admit Card और Result दोनों के लिए जरूरी है।
Candidate का नाम, DOB, Category, Sainik School Preference carefully भरें। Photo (JPG), Signature (JPG), Thumb Impression upload करें। Correction Window submit होने के बाद भी मिलती है।
Online — Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI सब accepted। Fee receipt जरूर save करें।
January में Pen-Paper based exam। Admit Card NTA website से download करें। Class VI — 2.5 घंटे, Class IX — 3 घंटे। MCQ format।
Result के बाद School-wise, Class-wise, Gender-wise Merit List जारी। Rank के आधार पर e-Counselling में School select करें।
Government Medical Authority द्वारा Medical Fitness Test। Fit होने पर Original Documents verify — फिर Admission Confirmed!
