AISSEE ↗ - All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam हर साल जनवरी में होती है। कक्षा 6 और कक्षा 9 में प्रवेश के लिए। Sainik School Tilaiya झारखंड का अपना सैनिक स्कूल है - यहाँ झारखंड के बच्चों को 67% सीटों में सीधा फायदा मिलता है। गोड्डा से यह सबसे नज़दीकी और सबसे व्यावहारिक रास्ता है।
RMS - Rashtriya Military School ↗ Entrance Exam पाँच Rashtriya Military Schools पूरे देश में हैं - अजमेर, बेलगाम, बंगलोर, धौलपुर और चैल। Class 6 और Class 8 में admission होता है। इसका paper AISSEE से बिल्कुल अलग pattern रखता है - यहाँ Reasoning और Mental Ability का दबदबा है। RMS की तैयारी के लिए अलग strategy चाहिए।
RIMC - Rashtriya Indian Military College, देहरादून यह देश का सबसे प्रतिष्ठित military school है। यहाँ से पढ़े बच्चे सीधे NDA और फिर Army, Navy, Air Force के officer बनते हैं। RIMC में Written Exam, Interview और Viva - तीनों अलग-अलग होते हैं। हर साल सिर्फ 25 बच्चे देशभर से चुने जाते हैं। मुकाबला कड़ा है - पर गोड्डा के बच्चे इसमें बिल्कुल पीछे नहीं हैं।
अब एक ज़रूरी बात।
मान लीजिए बच्चे ने छह महीने पूरी मेहनत की। AISSEE का हर chapter पढ़ा। RMS के notes बनाए। रात को देर तक जागा।
फिर भी result नहीं आया। क्यों?
क्योंकि AISSEE में 125 सवाल और सिर्फ 150 मिनट होते हैं। यानी एक सवाल के लिए 72 सेकंड से भी कम। RMS में 100+ सवाल और 120 मिनट। और RIMC की written में 200 अंकों का paper सिर्फ 3 घंटे में।
जो बच्चा घड़ी के साथ कभी बैठा नहीं, वो परीक्षा हॉल में एक सवाल पर अटक जाता है। और अटकने में जो वक्त जाता है, उसमें पाँच आसान सवाल अनछुए रह जाते हैं।
किताब में सब था। दिमाग में सब था। बस घड़ी के साथ दोस्ती नहीं थी।
हम यही एक काम सबसे पहले करते हैं।
पहले हफ्ते से हर शनिवार - तीनों परीक्षाओं के लिए अलग-अलग Timed Mock Tests। असली OMR Sheet। असली Pattern। असली माहौल। बच्चा जब बीस बार इस अनुभव से गुज़रता है, तब असली परीक्षा हॉल उसे घर जैसा लगता है। डर नहीं रहता। सिर्फ काम रहता है।

► AISSEE Class 6 Batch गणित, अंग्रेज़ी, General Knowledge, Intelligence - चारों विषय। हर chapter में 70% से कम score आया तो अगला chapter नहीं खुलता। बच्चे की समझ तय करती है रफ़्तार - हमारा calendar नहीं।
► AISSEE Class 9 Batch Class 6 के चारों विषय + Science + Social Science। बुधवार को Chapter Test। शनिवार सुबह 8 से 10:30 - Full Mock।
► RMS Batch Reasoning-heavy pattern। पहले दिन से RMS-specific questions। AISSEE और RMS का overlap जहाँ है, वहाँ साझा strategy - जहाँ नहीं, वहाँ अलग approach।
► RIMC Batch Written Exam + Interview + Viva - तीनों एकसाथ। Retired Army Officers का Mock Panel। GK में current affairs से लेकर military history तक। English essay और comprehension पर विशेष ध्यान। देहरादून जाने से पहले वहाँ का माहौल यहाँ तैयार हो जाता है।
► Crash Course अक्टूबर में होश आया, जनवरी दरवाज़े पर? रोज़ class। रोज़ test। शाम 7:30–8:30 Doubt Session। तीन महीने में वो कवर होता है जो दूसरी जगह छह में होता है।
► Foundation Batch - Class 4 और 5 सिर्फ शनिवार। Mental Maths, Picture Reasoning, English Passage। कोई pressure नहीं। जब Class 6 की परीक्षा आएगी, AISSEE उस बच्चे का पुराना साथी होगा - नया दुश्मन नहीं।

एक किस्सा - पथरगामा का।
घर में पिताजी खेत जोतते हैं। बिजली आती है तो आती है, नहीं आती तो दिया जलाकर पढ़ाई होती है। इसी घर का बच्चा हमारे पास आया - Scholarship Test देने।
हमने test देखा। बच्चे में spark था, बस direction नहीं था।
उसी दिन 75% फीस माफ़। नौ महीने उसने पढ़ा। एक दिन भी miss नहीं किया।
जनवरी में exam। मार्च में result।

एक बार ठहरकर सोचिए।
दस-ग्यारह साल का बच्चा। पहली बार घर से दूर। हॉस्टल का बड़ा खर्च। सफर का थकान। और माँ की वो रात जो करवट बदलते गुज़रती है।
